It was time to stop going out and networking, answering every question over the phone, and selling my butt off
If I wanted more freedom in my life.
Both literally (through e-commerce) and psychologically (through strong branding and marketing).
And even though I spent years in IT, working at a help desk for a local hospital group, creating a functional ecommerce website was a completely new realm for me.
Wordpress was daunting. I felt lost every time I logged in to the back-end, afraid I was one click away from total website destruction.
So I researched. I took web design courses. I luckily had smart IT friends who I could ask for help when I got stuck (which I did...a lot.)
Not only did I stop wasting time talking to potential clients because the website made people comfortable enough to buy right away (even more amazing)...
Not only did we start selling out four months before our harvest — we literally can’t grow trees fast enough to keep up with demand!...
<pBut something else happened that I never expected…</p
If you’re an entrepreneur who wants to attract clients effortlessly and elevate your reputation with a beautiful, easy-to-use website, I’m so glad you’re here, friend 🙂
I’m a New Englander through and through, who’s a bit like Nancy Drew. I enjoy figuring out a good mystery and doting on my friends and family. Just wish I had her car!
I create my own knitting patterns just because. I knit quite often and hate following written patterns.
Our family owns a little fruit tree nursery, Winter Cove Farm. We’re way beyond organic and believe that it’s the future of our planet.
We also spend a lot of time talking about trees and Hubby and I teach seasonal classes about how to raise healthy, organic fruit in your backyard.
I love all of the above...but I LOVE my coffee. It’s even more than love. Locally-roasted, extra-strong beans are more precious than gold in my house.
My faith in Jesus is the foundation to all that I do. The grace His love provides keeps my feet on the path of being there for others.
